Ascent Trip Report

A valley and hillside walk from Ambwika to the Arkwasiye pass where we camp on its SE side. 8.8 miles, 1050m of ascent, 6hrs 15mins.

A short stroll from the camp site up grassy slope dotted with Giant Lobelia. Thought we'd escaped our armed scout but we're spotted and he comes to join us. Very fine views W of peaks and cliffs forming the steep sides of the high plateau.
