Ascent Trip Report

Charlie Zerphey and I climbed the southwest ridge from Firetower Road. There is an old woods road (shown as a dotted line on the topo) that follows the ridgeline to the summit. Beware: This route is used by deer hunters and posted for no trespassing. The Crest firetower on Salters Mountain has been replaced by a water tank.

With this hike, Charlie became the second person to complete the COHPs of Georgia.
