Ascent Trip Report

Wasson is the highest peak in the Tucson Mountains. We made a great 8-mile loop hike out of this peak-bag: King Canyon trail for the ascent; then back down the Hugh Norris, Sendero Esperanza, and Gould Mine trails. All trails were well-maintained since this peak is in the Saguaro National Park. Lovely views of the surrounding Tucson area from the top. Bring lots of water because there is no shade anywhere.
