Ascent Trip Report

Unexpectedly perfect weather - warm temps (40s), sun/clear skies, NO WIND and we abandoned our plan to do Liberty-Flume and took on Mt. Adams instead. Bare trail to start with and turned into consolidated snow on trail. We did microspikes the whole way, but could have done snowshoes on the snowfields at top. Also, hit John Quincy Adams, Sam Adams and Adams 4. Stopped at Gray Knob and Camp Crag on the way back down and explored some of the trails. Long day, but really great. Caught a beautiful sunset on the way home from Cannon mountain.
