Ascent Trip Report

Parked across the highway from the gravel pit on highway 8 south of Bovill and walked though the area. It is not posted and has a sign describing recreation restrictions from Potlatch. I walked directly across the area and took a road staying right at a junction and joined a well used road higher up. At the next junction I went right and put on snowshoes. From here I followed the road past another right junction and arrived to a third right immediately after. I took this third junction which ascends and left the road at the first right higher up and went cross country to the summit. No difficulties and skid tracks are not brushy below the top.
I was close enough to Bovill that I could hear the traditional noon siren go off.
