Ascent of Montalban Ridge-North Peak on 1994-06-26
|Date:||Sunday, June 26, 1994|
|Ascent Type:||Unsuccessful - Turned Back|
|Peak:||Montalban Ridge-North Peak|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4280 ft / 1304 m|
Ascent Trip ReportActually, the AMC map of the day showed the peak as 4305' and the trail going exactly over the peak... wrong on both counts the new maps show. The newest AMC maps **STILL** have errors of one sort or another on them. Personally, I do not trust their maps anymore.
See report for previous day. This tent site is very nice, except for the fact that it's totally dry. We anticipated this and truly tanked up at RBS #2 the previous evening, enough water for the next 1-1/2 days.
