Ascent Trip ReportFrom the parking lot located at Mount Gower Open Space Preserve, Kelley and I hiked up the trail to the ridge located west of False Gower and then down to an open meadow located at about 4.3 miles in from the parking lot at about 2560' in elevation. From there, we picked up and followed a ducted path and use trail through the meadow and then through the brush up to the summit. We sometimes had to pause to locate the use trail or the ducts to stay on the easiest route. Also, the peak now has a summit register (the peak did not have a register on my two previous accents). |
