Ascent Trip ReportThe day started with a full english breakfast with my good friend Dan in Newton Abbot.
Once we were fueled up we drove up onto Dartmoor to the upper Haytor car park(cheating I know). We headed up from the car park and arrived below the huge granite outcrop. We scrambled up the rough sloping granite and made our way up the old worn steps to the top. It was an amazing day to take in the views as we were rewarded with low-lying clouds inbetween the hills all the way to the coast.
we then carefully descended and headed South West along a moorland path towards our next stop 'Saddle Tor'....
