Ascent Trip ReportStarted at Midnight and hiked with headlamps for about 4.5 hours. At the top there was a cell tower and equipment. There are empty huts with mattresses to sleep for a couple of hours until sunrise at 6:20. Then you hike up about 5 minutes to top where cross is which is the true summit. Very cold and windy at the top...hat, and puffy with hard shell over me. Awesome hike but don't take it lightly...its a workout. |
