Ascent Trip Report

Parked at Holy Cross Church and did a 6.1 mile run around streets to 2 Hubbard Hills and Warner Hill. This second Hubbard Hill is accessed by an old jeep/woods road that is accessed at the first where Olesen Rd changes to Ballard Road (see https://www.derrynh.org/sites/derrynh/files/uploads/landusemap_public.pdf for access location/information). The woods road/right of way is not really noticeable from the street since it is overgrown, but after a short bushwhack, you find the woods road bordered by two stone walls. The Ballard Road Town Forest is documented here: https://www.derrynh.org/conservation-commission/pages/town-forest
At the crest of the hill on the woods road, an old trail leads to the high point adjacent to a landscaped property. I believe this is all on town land, first the Ballard Town Forest property and then the side trail on the "well lot" referred at the above link. I continued along the woods trail (which I believe goes off of town land onto a residential lot) and it exited onto a driveway very close to where the driveway meets Brier Lane. If you were to exit Ballard Road Town Forest as you entered, the entire peak access would be on town land.
