Ascent Trip Report

After stitching together the longest loop over on the north side of Hwy 9 in the Hogback Conservation Area I crossed the Hwy to the Tower trail. Tower Trail has a lollipop loop on the top half. Rime ice made the stairs of the lookout slick but the views were very worth it! Mt Snow, Stratton, Haystack and Monadnock were a few I could make out.
The former ski hill slopes are growing in a bit but would make fun short tele runs in deep enough conditions.
