Ascent Trip ReportI was invited to hike by some experienced Mountaineers Susan, Judy and Jim. I was surprised by how rugged this route is! I thought it would be a relaxing Sunday Amble!!! NOT! Very great workout tho and I gained more experience in class 3 and class 3+ up climbs and downclimbs. The Arch along the way was amazing too. We thought the peak was a highpoint with a stack of rocks but we traversed the ridge all the way past it to the end where we found a sign in jar and a pretty flower covered meadow area. The entire route had beautiful blooms. My legs have tons of scratches from the brush. Wild Mustangs met us at the end of the day. |
