Ascent Trip ReportI had planned to do a loop hike from the Dartmouth College Ravine Lodge but only Gorge Brook Trail had been broken out. Even the group that broke out the trail stopped about a mile short of the summit. Tough going but it was a beautiful day with no wind so had a great time. Did meet 5 other hikers all wearing snowshoes on the way down so the trail was much better shape and made good time on the descent. |
