Ascent Trip ReportOften overlooked peak adjacent to the Kistler Road (Old NC 105) that straddles the western ridge of the Linville Gorge.
About halfway between the north and south end of this road, the pull off is just beyond the summit on the left. Views of Hawksbill, Table Rock, Shortoff and the River are magnificent. If you scramble 50 yards to the summit, you will find a wonderful campsite and deer trails to overlooks. Definitely stop if you are nearby. You will not be disappointed. |
