Ascent Trip Report

Tired of training on the same peaks in the area I saw this mountain today and thought..."something new?" of course it is disappointing that after you climb over 600 feet you realize it has a connecting saddle dropping this sub-peak down to the "only 110 foot prom" category but at the end of the day, it is on public land withing the Arapaho National Forest and can be hiked up without trespassing so.........

Parked at standard upper falls parking lot crossed road where there are signs found a jeep trail that narrowed into a use trail then bushwhacked the summit. Not much in the way of views and no scrambling rocks just the typical couple of rock piles you see in the area but plenty of solitude and animal tracks in the snow. Hoping not to see a Mountain Lion and did not that is always a plus when you are solo.
Snow was only 1 inch deep - melted out this week
