Ascent Trip Report

First peak in a multi-peak hike. Took the standard ridge route but angled more directly toward the saddle than I had on previous trips, where I had ascended the spur, then dropped down and cut over. This proved to be a faster and all-around better route, as the others took the normal variation and I was on top well before they got there, and it didn't entail anything more difficult along the way.

From there we headed for unofficial "Peak 5330". Descent stats are to the saddle with Peak 5330 - please see the trip report on that peak for additional details.

GPS track shown is for the whole outing.
