| Elevation:||2448 ft / 746 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis was a nice and not too strenuous walk up a wide path that was pretty much free of rocks and other obstacles. As we made our way up the mountain, the typical early morning low clouds quickly burned off, allowing for some fine views in all directions. A bit of graffiti on the rocks near the summit but thankfully very little trash. By parking along Myrtlewood Ave. at the base of the mountain, we added a little distance and elevation gain and even got to say hello to a couple horses and a pig that seemed a bit disappointed that we didn't have any food. No burro sightings on the hike but we did see a healthy looking coyote from a distance.
