Ascent Trip ReportTuckaway mountain from 7 bridges. There is something really weird with this route, all of the maps seem to be a little off regarding 667 trail. We followed signs and were fairly confident we were on 667 the entire approach up from the saddle near Kineo, yet we veered away from bear creek many times, and actually had to drop down a couple of hundred feet from the trail to the creek before ascending Tuckaway. There was an old, well-work trail in place where the maps indicate 667 should be, however it was covered in downed logs and limbs as far as we could see and it looks as if no-one had used it in years.
Heading up tuckaway we just went straight up from the South, and fought limbs, scrambly stuff, and snow/sliding issues (a long with more ankle breakers than you could count). Coming down we headed toward the saddle of the mountain to the NE, and followed the drainage. This was much easier.
