Ascent Trip Report

A full traverse of the 'La Centennaire' trail, on a beautiful but unseasonably cold October day.
Same route was taken as on my 2015 and 2013 trips.

This time, I only used trail runners as I was used to similar conditions from a long season of hiking and scrambling and didn't consider hiking boots a must. It allowed me to move a bit more quickly than usual. Did the full traverse in 3 hours. Then I had to jog along the road for another 35 minutes in order to return to my vehicle.

The great thing about the Laurentians during the "shoulder season" is that there are virtually no hikers. I encountered only two other parties.
