|Date:||Sunday, October 21, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||4650 ft / 1417 m|
Ascent Trip ReportWe went up the Bessequartz Ridge, left ridge at 3800' and did a horrible brush bash to Blethen Pot (aka Quartz Lake). Probably better to stay on the ridge longer. More brush to the summit. Descended to the gully at 4400', made an attempt at 4641, but ran out of time. Descended via the gully - much better route until we took a wrong turn at about 2200' and had to fight our way through blackberries and slide alder. Better once we backtracked back into the gully. Had we come up this way in the first place it wouldn't have been so bad.
