Ascent Trip Report

Took the Grassy Lane down to Pasture Path as a shortcut. Pasture Path was mostly easy, with a couple moderate brook crossings. Never steep until the climb to Lookout Ledge. Lookout Ledge is a wonderful hike by itself, with a really nice view of the Northern Presidentials. The trail to Mt. Randolph was nice as well. We found some snow and ice near the summit. There were only minor views at the summit. We intended to continue along the ridge to Mt. Crescent, but deep snow obscured the path, so we turned around.
