Ascent Trip Report

Drove to east end of Dry Canyon Road (requires high clearance vehicle for the dirt road).

Hiked east along Tinta Trail toward the abandoned Upper Tinta Campsite, then turning south to ascend the steep ridgeline. The trail was well worn and easy to follow over several bumps along the way to Lizard Head. There was very little shade along the way, so best to do in cooler weather. The register was near the top of the peak. Returned along the same route.
