Ascent Trip ReportGetting here wasn't that straight forward. I went to Pine Mountain first, which was straight forward, but nothing to write about. Then the traverse from Pine Mtn to here was interesting, first I had to work my way around several cattle that stood their ground. Then I would lose sight of the summit I wanted to hike each time I crossed a ravine. There is an obvious detour on the gps track where I ascended a little bump to get a look see to ensure I was headed the right direction.
Like stated in another post there aren't views from the summit, but John Vitz left a register and a small cairn on the summit. |
