Ascent of Challenger Point on 2018-10-06

|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|

Ascent Trip ReportGetting to Challenger and Kit Carson requires taking a right and crossing a small stream almost immediately from the trailhead. We missed this turnoff and didn't realize it for a few miles. Not wanting to turn around at that point, we made an unscheduled trip up Mt Adams and then descended the south side to the base of Challenger Pt where we continued with our original plan. It added a few thousand vertical feet but hey got an centennial peak out of it. Beautiful fall day!
