Ascent Trip ReportStarted my hike at St Hubert’s parking area. Proceeded to hike down Lake Road until I got to the junction of the Gill Brook cutoff trail. I took this small trail to the Gill Brook trail. I hiked this trail until I got to the junction for the trail that leads to the summit of Colvin. I hiked this trail up to Colvin and proceeded to go further down this trail to Blake. After descending and ascending from the steep cul in between the two peaks, I proceeded to hike further past the summit of Blake because I had heard of a viewpoint on Southwest Blake Peak called “Lookout Rock”. After descending and ascending from another cul, I found this rock, but continued so I can summit this subpeak. Once I did, I retraced my steps back to Lookout Rock and took in the views there. I then retraced all of my steps on the same trail over Blake and Colvin and back down Gill Brook to Gill Brook cutoff to Lake Road again.
