Ascent Trip Report

Sole hike of the Red Cliffs and a Peakbagger bump in Cottonwood Wilderness area. We where staying in the St George KOA and Red Cliffs was about 10 minutes from there. My goal at Red Cliffs was to get Peak 4220. I was following Steve Thompson track but lost it. Instead did the Red Reef trail. It was a neat trail, followed a creek back through a slot canyon. At one point had to use a rope to get over a dry water fall.
After hiking in Red Cliffs, took Old Highway 91 south to a under pass (under 15) to the start of Cottonwood trail. From there I hiked the short distance to 3242.
