|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||Canada-British Columbia|
| Elevation:||8074 ft / 2460 m|
Ascent Trip Report4h up, 2h45 down. Early start in drizzly grey pre dawn intent on catching clearance up there, and down before afternoon rain. Still snowing at summit though and crampons needed for steep 5m downclimb to 2nd notch to access northern summit - tricky with holds plastered with fresh snow. GPS made them both almost same height, hoped to hand level them but not enough visibility. North summit has the spot height (GPS N summit N49.28958° W121.15830°, 2446m, small cairn) (GPS S summit N49.28898° W121.15835°, large cairn). Kept crampons on to descend snow covered talus slope (in white-out, start of path is at N49.28290° W121.15968°, 2170m) then easily down good trail and into Hope to dry out in motel.
