Ascent Trip Report2018 9/11 Memorial Mount Grant Challenge -- half hike from mile 9 to mile 17, followed
by scary-looking but easy and totally doable class 2+ scramble up the summit pyramid
full hike starts at bottom while half hike starts after a 9 mile ride by shuttle bus -- yay!
drinks and snacks provided every couple of miles by the event organizers -- awesome!
from the summit back to the starting point it's another 17 mile shuttle bus ride, though
the hardcore participants did the full 17 miles up and down on foot
