Ascent of Wilson County High Point on 2001-11-10
|Date:||Saturday, November 10, 2001|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Wilson County High Point|
| Elevation:||804 ft / 245 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI followed US-87 to the town of La Vernia, then FM-775 south four miles, then west on FM-3432 another three miles to "Kicaster Korner", a beat-up little country store located on the corner of the road leading to the little community of Kicaster.
I went south on this road a mile and parked at a bend in the road, across from some trees. The highpoint is a tiny rise of land set back about 100 feet. I walked to the "top", which was indistinct at best. A private residence was nearby, and their yard fence seemed to be at or near the top, too.
