Ascent Trip ReportStarted from the trailhead near the Visitor Center bathroom. Followed the Bristlecone Cabin Trail past a couple of old mining cabins, mine tailing piles, and prospects up to a saddle before leaving the trail and heading cross-country to the south. Continued along the ridgeline to the eastern-most point. Located the register which identified this as the "Mexican Mine", so I corrected it. Last entry was on 8/3/18. Clear and calm. Returned the same way. |
