Ascent Trip Report

The Weakly county highpoint is not far south of the Kentucky state line and is located just off a gravel road about 18 miles north of the county seat of Dresden.
Another rural west Tennessee highpoint but at least this one has a noticeable rise/hill. Make your way to Jay Bird Ln and climb up the small hill (about 20 feet of gain) and tromp around until satisfied.
Other than a few buzzards/vultures gliding above, the high point is deserted and does not look like it will be developed anytime soon, although there is a power line that runs over top of it. We passed a few hunters on ATVs.
From the county courthouse in Dresden:
Take Main St/Palmersville Rd east out of town
After a half a mile, bear left onto TN 89 (also Palmersville Rd) and continue northeast for 14.7 miles
Turn left on Glover Store Rd and go 1.1 miles
Turn right on Jay Bird Ln heading north for 2 miles (this is a gravel road)
The high point is not far after the 4-way stop with McQuire Cemetery Rd.
