Ascent Trip ReportRoute as per John Stolk, NB decent trail up thru scree onto NW ridge, slow and delicate on NW ridge with fresh snow above 1800m. 3h30 up. Highpoint just NW of comms structure. 15mins on top, no view, down in 3h including Moonlit Mountain, which has 4 summits within 1m elevation, central summit a foot higher than E or N; W 1m lower. 1720co summit passed on its W side both times. Cloud lifted above summit to give good views back to it, no distant views.
Met 2 locals Luke and Kasia at trailhead, another heading up as we descend back to trail.
Sunny late pm, motel overnight in Smithers having spent last night at trailhead after a long travel day from Wedge Mtn. Tomorrow Cronin.
