Ascent Trip Report

6h20 round trip from Cook Creek Rd lower trailhead, on logging roads and trail, a little overgrown in one spot.

Route as per Summitpost except trail coordinates are wrong - continue to end of old logging road, across an old log bridge, along 100m overgrown section then obvious flagged trail climbs up to R thru forest to saddle then forks L and leads to summit: trig point (GPS N49.41518° W124.92013°, 1549m) complete with sighting tube, next to microwave station. East summit may be as high, crossed just before reaching main west summit.

Vegetation wet from earlier rain but weather mostly dry for us albeit low cloud, no view. Nice hike after tougher day on Victoria Peak yday.
