Ascent Trip ReportNice weather starting out. Could not see the top though so expected the weather not to be great at top. Really nice hike/climb. Claire joined me for the first ~1.5 miles then turned back. After that trail got a little more challenging. Uneven rocks, water crossings, etc.
Really cool scramble up a gully. Small creek running through it also. Some rocks were slippery from the creek. Made great time up through the scramble part. Once to the top of the scramble I was in the clouds. Wind really started picking up and little visibility. Just before reaching the peak had to put on rain jacket over the t-shirt I was wearing as the wind and moisture in the air was cooling me down quickly.
Not much of a view at top. As I started down wind really picked up, strong enough to make walking a little tough at times.
Decent went well, made good time down. Weather was better once getting to the bottom of the scramble area.
