Ascent Trip Report

Walked over to Oxford's eastern (lower) summit for lunch, to better get out of the wind and the views are better. True summit appears to be the western one.

Returned via Elkhead Pass after the re-climb of Belford because the trail looked better than the zigzags up Belford's NW ridge. It was somewhat better, but still steep enough higher up to risk sliding and falling. Being 1.2 miles farther and only saving 80ft of re-gain, I didn't think it was worth it. Good for the sake of changing up the hike, I guess.
