Ascent of Mount Forgotten on 2018-08-19
|Date:||Sunday, August 19, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
| Elevation:||6005 ft / 1830 m|
Ascent Trip ReportPretty straightforward ascent, except for the thick layer of smoke blanketing the North Cascades as far as they eye could see. While guidebooks rate this Class 3, and I suppooooooose I can see the rationale behind that, I wouldn't quite go that way. I dunno, maybe I'm sandbaggy, but I just didn't quite see Class 3. Either way, it's a great hike with a little light scrambling at the top - I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing it in a smoke cloud, though.
