Ascent Trip Report

Pretty straightforward ascent, except for the thick layer of smoke blanketing the North Cascades as far as they eye could see. While guidebooks rate this Class 3, and I suppooooooose I can see the rationale behind that, I wouldn't quite go that way. I dunno, maybe I'm sandbaggy, but I just didn't quite see Class 3. Either way, it's a great hike with a little light scrambling at the top - I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing it in a smoke cloud, though.
