Ascent Trip ReportApproached via the unmaintained Tahoma Creek trail. Several hazardous washout sections took a long time to negotiate, I do not recommend this route. Deterioration is ongoing. The safer, although longer, approach is the Kautz Creek trail.
Travel was much slower than anticipated both because of the Tahoma Crk trail, and brush bashing. Thick jungle-like brush created route finding challenges at the base of the peak. Ran out of time, turned back at 3 p.m. |
