Ascent of Alouette Mountain on 2018-08-11
|Date:||Saturday, August 11, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||Canada-British Columbia|
| Elevation:||4465 ft / 1360 m|
Ascent Trip ReportLow clouds everywhere so we were looking for an easier objective just for an exercise. Weather was looking slightly better east of Vancouver so we drove to Golden Ears park.
The first 2/3 of the hike are shared with Evans Peak, Ibra, my hiking partner was feeling lazy so he branched off there while I continued up Alouette.
Whiteout on the summit, got one glimpse of Alouette Lake on the descent, which I mostly ran.
2hrs up (moderate pace), 1hr down (partly running). I will be back for Blanchard Needle.
