Ascent Trip ReportIn his cohp.org TR, Bob Martin mentioned "the old sign mostly covered by brush". This is no longer the case. Trees along the approach road are freshly painted with a red stripe around the circumference and the signs are new: "Danger Unexploded Shells".
The senses are fully aware on a hike to this HP. It completely reminded me of stepping off the pavement in Sarajevo in 1999 (I was there as a tourist), which I did three times - I still remember each step vividly.
I did not explode -- either in Bosnia or in Louisiana.
