Ascent Trip Report

Left the trail to ascend through open forest right before the first major bridge across Mountaineer Creek. Easy brush / talus / cross country up to West Ridge. Nice little friction move on the summit block. Total thumbs up. Would recommend over the shit show route that takes you up the abandoned road from the Stuart Lake TH parking area.

Tasty thimbleberries in the talus ~4400'.
