Ascent Trip Report

Standard south slopes route. Horseshoe Basin was mostly melted out, tedious choss traversing. We followed moderate snow where we could then scrambled the final choss-slopes to the summit. We could see the Gilbert Fire exploding behind Goode from the summit, as well as the Bannock Lakes Fire and the Cougar Creek Fire down in the Entiat. Bummer.

Continued onto Horseshoe next.
