Ascent Trip ReportAnother super-easy county highpoint in eastern Colorado, but at least this one has some relief from the north so you feel you do have some elevation gain. There is an easy small loop drive here to park and grab your "summit" victory photo without having to worry about passing traffic, but you could probably lie down in the middle of the gravel road and not have to worry about getting run over either! It sure feels strange to bag county highpoints like this in a state that has so many challenging peaks. |
