US County High Point Links

Jay Dolan has self-identified as interested in climbing to the high points of counties in the United States.

I first got the peakbagging bug in 2005 after hiking a few minor peaks in SD county, WA and OR. I became more interested after my first two major climbs of Half Dome and Whitney in 2006. In 2007, I added the SoCal big 3 and started branching out to climb 4 other state highpoints (AZ,NM,CO,TX). In 2008, I gradually expanded my interest to include county high points, various hikes in SoCal, East Coast state HP's, and peaks on my travels to Central America and Africa. Once I found out about the different local peak lists, I began focusing more on those. Currently, I'm more interested in climbing Prominence peaks, while adding peaks from other lists when the opportunity arises.
