Time-Period Summary Reports

These reports show number of peaks climbed, highest point reached, and other statistics grouped by year or month.

I have been fortunate in climbing and scrambling a multitude of named and no name peaks in lower 48 US, New Zealand, and Canada; and, numerous backpacking trips. The majority of these have been in Washington State where I live. Perhaps the most memorable mountaineering event happened in 2007 when I completed the Pacific Crest Trail, Mexico to Canada, with wife Diane in 172 days in one season. This included summiting roughly 75 summits along the journey northbound. During our journey, we followed the mantra of Ed Viesturs that being careful, taking your time, and always finishing by returning safely surpasses all other expectations. I am currently passionate about completing the 5000' prominence List of 57 summits and have completed 16(just started the List in summer, 2014) My favorite and most challenging climb was Mt. Aspiring, South Island, New Zealand, done privately with friend and peakbagger Andy Boos. We also did 6 others on same trip including Mt. Ruapehu and Mt. Taranaki on the North Island. I have dreams of doing the Triple Crown for thru-hikers of the Continental Divide Trail and Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail now completed. I am often looking for others to climb with and welcome hearing from others.
