Ascent Trip Report

This is the one that got me interested hiking as a hobby. I was in great shape at the time, played basketball regularly and figured this would be no problem. After summiting I decided to run down the sandy summit cone and felt my knee pop. Shortly thereafter my other knee popped. I believe that I did ligament damage to both knees that still haunts me to this day and put and end to two decades of recreational basketball. Nonetheless a fun walk up the hikers trail. Repeated one summer later with my brother.
