Ascent Trip Report

Good Trail from near the end of FS 2703 to Crystal Lake. Note that this trail is absent from most maps and is also a good approach for Rat Trap mountain. From the end of the trail on the SE side of the lake ascend to the small saddle between pt. 5363 and the summit. Follow the narrow wooded east ridge to the top. We occasionally traversed slightly below the ridge on the south slope when this looked easier than following the ridge itself.
