Approach from village of Xinara or from Tripotamos, island of Tinos (Tenos). The shortest way is to leave vehicle at the Tripotamos junction on the main Tinos to Panormos road, then take the signposted track. It turns into a stone-paved path that leads to Holy Heart monastery and then steeply upwards into the ruins of a Venetian fortress that enclose the whole summit. For a longer drive and a shorter climb, find the minor road that goes all the way to the monastery and walk up from there. The walk from Tripotamos takes about 50 minutes. The mountain is used by rock climbers, but the footpath goes all the way to the summit without any rock climbing.
