A small peak, semi-detached from the larger massif of Mt. Daly, Pulpit Peak is a hiking and ski touring destination above the shores of Hector Lake. The approach involves hiking off the Icefields Parkway, skiing across the frozen Hector Lake (or walking around the shores in the summer) and ascending the NE slopes of the mountain. The terrain is relatively gentle and gladed.
