The Nature Conservancy in Vermont manages the Helen W. Buckner Memorial Preserve at Bald Mountain which is its largest and most ecologically diverse managed natural area. The Conservancy offers an on-line descriptive trail map of Tim's Trail on Bald Mountain which follows a cliff edge of Champlain Valley views. Geocaching’s “Tim's Trail Info Kiosk” (Geocache GC1PFMO) offers another set of trailhead directions. This cache is located off of Tim's Trail near an information kiosk. The parking area holds about two cars. The trail is not packed down that well but there are numerous trail markings on the trail for one to follow, so one need not worry about getting lost. One needs be wary with hands because rattlesnakes are known to frequent this area of great biodiversity.
