This is not really a peak but the end of a northwest spur ridge of Mount Ogden. It is a very popular hike from the city of Ogden. You can continue on to Malans Basin, which most people do if they are hiking this as a day trip. If you are more adventurous you can continue up above Malans Basin and go all the way to Mount Ogden--it is another 1600 vertical feet and very steep, with no trail much of the way.
